Chester Cathedral Sculpture Exhibition

There is a free sculpture exhibition in Chester Cathedral until Oct 15th.
It is quite interesting as is Chester Cathedral which is very impressive .

I have never been there before it's was great my pictures taken with iPhone didn't come out very well because of the light but here is one

A carving on a choir stall, Chester. The carver had never seen an elephant.

Good set mate However, No. 3 takes my eyes straight to the tree in front, instead of the Cathedral.

I went to see the exhibition a few weeks ago .... most of the exhibits were beyond my comprehension

The Warhorse and a few others were really good but I certainly didn't like the ones that involved Taxidermy !!!!

Fabulous photographs.

Love Chester Cathedral but I haven't been for about 4 years now. Daft when it's only about 20 mins away, but isn't that always the way ?
