Re: VICTIM of Crime?
I never confronted them because it would be denied. They were at a very low place in their life (this is 15 years ago now) and I know it got worse from there. I do hope they were able to turn themselve around, but for my safety (and my kids) it was best to distance myself and accept it as a learning experience (never forget though).Re: VICTIM of Crime?
Re: VICTIM of Crime?
Had an older teenager smart mouth me in public not too long ago & the dragon within flamed. The kid ducked & covered-store manager got me off the brat-all was settled nicely with kid apologing to me and others-Guess he didn't want to be on 5 o'clock news having the crap beat out of him by an old grey haired woman. His buddies would have loved that. chuckle.Re: VICTIM of Crime?
I had my house burgled a number of years ago and the bungling police force around here failed to nail the culprits even though everyone in the place (including the police) knew who they were.
