Your caravan should never be more than 75 percent of the tow weight of the car, manufacturers set the weight at a safe but top level, so to tow safely you stick to less than 3/4 of the weight allowed. It's also safer not to have a caravan more than 25 percent bigger than the car height and length.Re: Stupid Drivers.

I have always wanted a tower but my Micra, being only a 1.2, isn't strong enough for pulling large weights. I'd have to change over to a bigger car with a bigger engine, to even consider it. But that won't happen because I love this car and it performs well.Re: Stupid Drivers.
