The Red Arrows

Just a quick question -

How many Red Arrows are there?

I always thought there were 7, but there was such a din this afternoon and when I looked up 9 red jets flew over, quite low, in an arrow formation.

The usual formation is 9. Lucky you!!!! I pay a fortune to see them, usually.

Oh, I didn't realise there were 9, Jazzi.

They didn't 'arf make a racket, but were there and gone in a few seconds.

Red 10 does the commentary at air shows, I seem to remember! Actually their title is Junior Engineering Officer.

I started buying fridge magnets of the Arrows, and tried to make it 9. I currently have 7, so need to add more. Two have broken.

Remember when I was driving to Lowestoft recently and they flew overhead (but behind me) on their way to the London flypast for Queen Liz, and I was giddy with excitement? Dancing in my car seat, I was.
