Is There a Certain Word.............

Is there a certain word that no matter how many times you use it when writing or typing it, you just have to check twice to be sure you have spelt it correctly?

My bugbear was always the word Gateau. I could never put it into print without having to check it again.

My brother said his when young was Chimney. He always put Chilmney. Another brother's was Wednesday.

Was there any word you were unsure how to spell correctly?

Yes necessary I always have too many cs and not enough ss

Also maintain I seem to join the main to the Tain with an a for some bizarre reason.

My "think twice" word was/is Necessary .... when I write it now I still say to myself "Neck-ess-ary to make sure I get it right

Mine think twice word is "Akward" - see, I've spelt it wrong now as well
I never remember there are 2 W's in it. AWKWARD.

My word is 'across'. I can never remember if it's one 'c' or two. I have to check with the word 'address' which I know has two 'd's, one has a double but the other doesn't!

My husband is a bit dyslexic so his spellings are a joy to behold sometimes, minnelium I was very glad when we got past that time in our history, shopping lists are great I have to get him to translate at times. Loof, loofa or loaf ? Stops ? That was stamps

My handwriting is dire so he writes letters and I spell the words
