Using a mobile whilst driving, absolute sheer stupidity, yet I see it all the time.

It seems to have become socially acceptable, especially amongst the younger ones.

I am not one for harsher sentences, but in instances like this, we do need a deterrent.

I do not know what the answer is, but I would welcome a system whereby anyone caught using a mobile whilst driving had their vehicle impounded for a month automatically.
