As some Gig economy worker get £2.50 per hour they would certainly be better of as Gigolos.

It is time the Government intervened.

There is no shortage of 'Rich Females happy to pay Gigolos handsomely, for their services.

Of course now they are known as 'Female Companions'

Re: The Gig economy

the main reason for the headlines is not worker's welfare but that they are hoping to earn tax revenue from these people.

I don't disagree Annie, but if it helps people I don't care why they do it.

I would hate to see an actual ban though as this does suit some people and some jobs, it's only since factories shops and proper full time workers that need protection from it.

Re: The Gig economy

It discriminates against the elderly who like to use cash and find computers difficult to navigate. Reduced capacity to see, impaired memory and arthritic fingers don't go well with technology. It just gives carers even more work and is just another nanny state big brother initiative to choke up enterprise and create umpteen layers of bureaucracy.
