Boy, 5, ‘was beaten to death by Mum’s boyfriend because he lost his shoe’

Poor little boy. Where on earth do these women find these horrendous men, and why ?

Re: Boy, 5, ‘was beaten to death by Mum’s boyfriend because he lost his shoe’

This kiddie was beaten to death in public? In broad daylight?
Have I got that right?

The man was heard shouting and 'banging' and nobody stepped in?
If the woman hearing this was too afraid of the man, surely she could have shouted for help, shouted at the bloke himself, or even taken a photo as evidence?

I would have thought he must have used something to hit the child with, because how can someone punching a head or tummy make 'banging' noises?

I hope this evil sod gets his just deserts from fellow prisoners, that's all I can say.

P.S. Edited to say I have just re-read it and it must have been winter time as they say it was pitch dark at 6 pm.

Why on earth would you take a child on 3 buses to play in a park in the pitch dark? This whole thing is weird and there is a lot more to it I suspect.

This is why marriage became so important in the first place, no one can love a child like the mother and father, of course there are exceptions but usually a fathers love won't allow him to beat a child like that.

I was very cautious when Tasha started dating and she was too, you can't just assume the man or woman you love will be a great parent to your child.

We have recently had a murder close to me , beautiful little 3 yr old lad , stepfather or I should say mothers live in partner . He got 18 yrs .

I won't read the link you have posted as I don't need details .

In the case above the one I speak of , I think the mother needs to assess how she allowed the situation and the things she missed while the child was alive . Some have since said she should have been held accountable in some ways too .

It's the old story, one person becomes infatuated with another and turns a blind eye to their faults and before you know it they have taken over with a form of manipulation, degradation and creating dependency.

One reason I never remarried when I became a widow, having had my childhood ruined by an evil stepmother I promised myself my small son would never experience cruelty at the hands of another .

Yes, I think there is a lot of truth in that Meg. I agree.

I was in a really happy mood yesterday, then l read this online. It really shook me and made me feel physically sick.
I couldn't read it all, as once l read, that the little boy kept saying, Sorry, for losing his trainer, it just broke me.....

There is no greater danger to a child than a male in the house that is not his /her father .

I felt the same Artangel when I read it this morning. That poor child. Sometimes life just seems unbearably painful and you wonder what we really are as a species, because this is what humans do. Worse than any animal.

Well thanks for that assessment. I must remember to tell my step-daughter's and step-grandchildren to be wary of me next time I see them.
