Interview your favourite

They were talking about this on the radio today.

If you could interview one person, either now or from the past, who would you most like to talk to?

I think I might choose someone funny, rather than serious and stuffy. And if it was someone very handsome, I might have trouble concentrating.

I think it might be someone like dear old Les Dawson. Just his face used to make me laugh.

Who would you choose?

For me it would be....Sir Ranulph Twisleton-Wykeham-Fiennes!
He's my hero and if he asked me to marry him at the interview, l would, like a shot!!

If he couldn't make it, we would have to dig up Sir Robin Day, another man that l absolutely adored!!

Re: Interview your favourite

tough question! at the moment my mother who has set up a trust fund which is now causing a lot of problems. Can't go into it as it is quite complicated and could cost us trustees a bundle of money.

Apart from that it depends on what subject grabs me at the time. The would have to be able to speak English or the interview would go nowhere.

Cromwell would be interesting to talk to but definately not Robin Hood as he was the leader of a gang "Merry Men" in the woods no less, and we all know what can and does happen in the woods.

Jonny Wilkinson, one of the best Rugby fly halves we have had! He is quite good looking and he helped us win the World Cup a few years ago... but I would love to know where his dedication to the game started and how he learned how to kick a rugby ball so accurately.

I had forgotten, Oliver Cromwell! He is another, that fascinates me!
I sometimes go to an Inn in Banbury called, Ye Old Reindeer Inn, where Cromwell frequented. I have even eaten my meal in the room where he planned his battles!!

I have a book about him and apparently it is his way if concentrating on getting the ball to the right place.
