Waiting in for the plumber to come and fix my new shower.

Very bright and sunny here, just off out to do a bit of shopping and going to have a lazy day.

Another day of cloud and wind here, weather warnings in place and only a couple of days of sn in the past two weeks. Feeling housebound at the moment summer is passing us by.

Good morning all, warm and humid here, so maybe a thunderstorm later.

We have visitors over the weekend so I'm busy getting the garden furniture cleaned up.

Good morning all.

Been to the High Street, again! I wanted to pick up yesterday's London evening standard, and today's Metro newspapers. No Metros anywhere.

Had planned on catching the bus to the library but that one was a 25 minute wait and the one to my home was due, so am now home, had a cup of coffee and will soon walk to the library. Might do a quick sandwich first. I want to return books, read the local paper, and settle down with the Which magazines that I started last Saturday. Hope nobody's been at the pile and messed up my date order!

Glad Gertie is recovering well.

Good morning all another sweltering day here, forecast to reach 27C.

My daugher and granddaughter are coming to lunch today and my son is here for a couple of weeks so we'll be able to catch up on any news.
