That's my favorite way to eat them. I used to grow peas and most of them never even made it to my kitchen because I'd sit outside, pick them off the vine, pop open the pod and eat them right there.

Too right Linda, I still grow peas but not many make it to the table here either...

My son and I just got back from the farm market to pick up fresh veggies and they have English peas. Unfortunately, there weren't many left in the basket and it wouldn't have been enough to make a serving for a meal, but I couldn't resist grabbing one of the pods and eating the peas out of it. So yummy!
