Good morning everyone, wall to wall sun and 27 deg. forecast for today... phew that's warm...
A walk in the forest with the dogs first, then we are going to Leicester later on to visit our eldest son and family for a birthday lunch.

buenas dias all. Hot and sunny, todayīs temperature forecast at 31C, which probably means it will be higher than that. Off to the market soon, itīs a bit hot for markets but the friends who are staying with us want to go, so I will of course take them.Last night we took them to visit the friend who is in hospital, they do of course know him, we are all from the same place in UK. They thought it was a private hospital, but no, itīs the equivalent of the NHS in UK. They found it hard to believe that there were no wards, all patients have their own room and bathroom. The only wards are observation and intensive care and even they are divided into cubicles. After the visit (I didnīt go in, I took ChoCho for a walk round the gardens), we went for a meal, which was very nice, stopped at a local bar/restaurant which has just reopened after a huge refurbishment, sat on the terrace talking to other "locals" we knew then home.
