Does you hair stick up?

I normally have my hair cut quite short (No.4 all over) but when it starts to get a bit longer I sometimes get one area that sticks up and will not lie down. From the back, it must look like I am indicating right.

It happened this morning and tried washing, brushing and even waxing but it still wouldn't lay flat.

Do you think I need to iron it?

Photographs please

This is, unfortunately, the only way we will be able to give sound advice.

We promise not to laugh

You assume I mean on my head.

I think it's known as a cowlick.

Posting a photo?
Funny you should say that as I've been thinking of cutting/shaving my hair as its grown long but I wasn't sure as I like my hair long, so I was going to post 2 photos and ask for opinions. Long hair on older men can look ridiculous.
Then I thought it might not be a good idea to plaster my face online as it might frighten the horses. Plus I'm shy.
But I'm definitely shaving off the beard and moustache.

Go for it MC. If you have some editing software you could blur your face like on Crimewatch. You could post a poll and we could all vote on it.

I'm not sure TessA would agree with shaving off the beard though.

Omg! Noooooo! Under no circumstances must you remove facial hair! I've just woken up from my nap to this planned carnage!
Good grief man!
I need resuscitation, fetch the smelling salts someone!

LD you need a stapler or hair gel lad!
( or a nice hat )

Ponytails are nice especially grey ones!

Have you thought about dreadlocks?

See the photo of how older men should look on the ladies joke thread!

Re: Does you hair stick up?

Yes my hair sticks up on one side sometimes.
It is very thick and strong has a mind of its own

It you turn me upside down you could use me to sweep the garden path...

I suppose I could try the stapler method or roofing felt tacks.
