Manspreading

Manspreading have you heard of it? I must admit i had not until the other day apparently it is when men sit on a seat on trains on the underground and spread their legs wide open taking up around 2 or 3 seat spaces and refusing to budge. Well i'm afraid if i wanted to sit down and he refused to move i would punch him right in the NUTS he would soon move then. What the hell is the world coming to?

Re: Manspreading

Similar thing happens on our buses, people will sit in the aisle seat to make sure nobody sits beside them.

Re: Manspreading

Yes Indeed Doc, I've come across these men many a time, and what is the most banal, stupid question I've always come out with? "Excuse me, is this seat taken"? when what I should have said is, "Excuse me, have you paid for two seats"?.

Re: Manspreading

This has been a problem for ever, I usually just say I've paid for that seat move over.

Re: Manspreading

It's male posturing, bit like the geezers who stand in queues, arms folded, and feet two foot apart.

Re: Manspreading

You see it everywhere, men nearly always sit like that, wherever they are.
I've never really known why though.

Re: Manspreading

Some of the women are worse, the way they surround themselves with bags of shopping, so there's no more room on the seat!

I suppose, if the men have long legs, the seat space is so cramped, they end up with their chin resting on their knees! That's what used to happen to my ex husband on aeroplanes!!
