What time do you go to bed at night?

I've found that the older I get - and especially now that I'm going through menopause - I get more tired than I used to. Oh yes, I remember the days of staying out half the night with friends and didn't go to bed until 2am or later. But slowly over time, I became knackered by midnight. Then 11pm. Then 10pm. These days I'm finding I'm ready to head to bed by 9pm, even though I try and push myself for another hour to 10pm. Most nights I can't wait to curl up in my bed and watch Twilight Zone until I fall asleep.

So I was curious about what time you all get tired and how late you're able to stay up or how early you're ready to fall into bed.

I'm one of those who find sleep to be mostly elusive.
How I envy those of you who get a good night's sleep!
Sweet dreams!

Never till about midnight, and I'm always awake by this time about 6am, me and sleep have never got on. I will admit to feeling tired in the afternoon sometimes but it passes.

I am usually in bed by 10, but I have a TV up there so don't go to sleep till I feel too tired to do anything else.
I am usually up between 5 and 6 am, but when I am ill for any reason, I sometimes need an hours nap, mid afternoon.... and it really helps me get better.

Similar to me twink, I sleep if I feel unwell, I'm lucky to get over things quickly though.

Re: What time do you go to bed at night?

Usually about 10 or 11, unless there is a particular TV programme i want to watch

But for the past few months I've fallen into a habit of waking up very early, about 4 or 5 in the morning, and being unable to get back to sleep, despite the fact that I would like to.
I just sit about reading or pottering about, and drinking lots of coffee
then sometimes i will feel tired in the afternoon and get under the duvet for a nap. I wish i could get out of this

Re: What time do you go to bed at night?

Start feeling tired anything from 8.30 onwards. Have been known to curl up in my uncomfortable chair but doze off and miss half a fave tv programme. I sometime go to hed at 9, if really tired, but also try to wait that other hour.

When this cold started well over a week ago I was going to bed at 8, sleeping, but waking around 2-3, and then no more sleep. Took a few days to break the vicious cycle.

And then I have those odd nights where I'm still up at gone 11!

Its years now since I finished going through the Manopause but I still get my full 7/8 hours a night. Anything less and I can only function fully until mid afternoon.

I go to bed around midnight & read for a while. Usually asleep for one and wake up about 7.00.
