Re: Sunday thoughts

Good morning.

It is -10C outside even with the sun shining. I did go for my usual early morning walk along our country lane, but it is very dangerous and too cold for comfort. I usually have two walks a day, rain or shine, but I think I would be unwise to have another unless the temperature creeps up to the heady heights of zero!

Re: Sunday thoughts

Good morning Brandykins and everyone,

More snow overnight here, but have now moved the car up to the gate so only have about 20 feet to clear to get out once on the road it's OK so long as we drive carefully. We have winter tyres of course.

Will be taking the fur babies out for 'walkies' this afternoon but other than that will stay inside, in the warm, and finish the Xmas decorations methinks

Re: Sunday thoughts

Good morning all. Have you all completed your Christmas shopping? I did, just 5 minutes ago. I ordered a new 50mm 1.4 lens as my gift to me.

Another change in my life yesterday. I cancelled my Facebook account. Anything that get my blood pressure to rise has to go. Since subscribers can say anything on Facebook without consequence I had to withdraw before I start disowning my relatives. There was life before Facebook.

Re: Sunday thoughts

Hi, people. Hope everyone gets dug out properly and able to shop, do errands, etc., do take care. Unseasonable cold continues; normal high is 11 C, haven't seen that all month: presently minus 3 (27F), snow still lingering in spots, sun and windy. More snow forecast for Tuesday and the long range forecast says yet more Christmas Eve and day ... a white Christmas, which will delight the little ones, I'm sure (Not this snow-hating adult! ) Weather people say this is the coldest December in 10 years. No errands, a lie-in and pottering, ham and cabbage again for dinner.

Bob, I cancelled my Facebook account last year.

Stay warm, dry and upright, people!

Re: Sunday thoughts

Hi everyone

Went to some friends last night and finished up staying the night, quite enjoyable and Dylan did not want to leave as he was having a great time playing with our friends two dogs.

Cold is not the word, this was in the car this morning as we set off back home.

Slightly warmer at the moment at -4° degrees but I suspect that will change shortly.

Rosemary, Santa has been here already, brought me a new airwaves scanner and three beautiful sets of DVD for 'she who must be obeyed'.

DS good to see you back here, it was cold down your way this morning .

Bob, DM, I joined Facebook a couple of years ago and cancelled my account after two weeks.

Stay warm and safe everyone. If you cant afford the heating wear three layers of clothing and jump up and down.
