Peonies in Gale today

As soon as the Peonies and Roses are in full bloom along comes a gale every year to damage the heads.

I know, it's such a shame Azure.
We wait a year for Peonies to bloom, then whoosh, they are ruined.

At least with the roses mine are repeat bloomers, so they'll get another chance, but not so with the Peonies. It's all the worse with the Sarah B one because they are long stems and heavy flower heads, so really don't do too well with such a bashing.
