A very good Idea indeed

It was never intended to do what people try to get it do in this day and age go back to what was achievable in the 1940's and it might just about work

Also if everybody that uses it had ID then those that are not entitled would not be clogging up the system

Already voted and although my hand hovered over the cons because of brexit I couldn't condemn people to more austerity and NHS disappearing before our eyes so labour got my vote.

It's been a difficult decision though as brexit is so important.

UJ, anybody who thinks that the NHS can provide everything that private medicine can , is a fool, but that is what many expect. It isn't free as with the NHS we all pay for the services ( or at least those who pay national insurance), whether we are ill or not, but those who use private health care and pay for their treatment also contribute... so be thankful that those, who worked hard to pay for their healthcare, aren't also expecting the NHS to provide for them too. Just because you don't agree with the Tories policies , please don't use your beliefs to try and persuade others to change their mind about voting.... unless of course you can produce proof that they have said they intend to " totally destroy the NHS and sell it off to friends at a knock down price"
It sickens me that many socialist and communist supporters expect those who have done well to provide for them, when we can all do more to help ourselves.
If your doctor suggested that if you ate less and used healthier foods, in order to improve your health, would you?

In all the past years that Conservative governments had had the opportunity to destroy the NHS they haven't done so. Despite the constant stream of lies issuing from Labour and because it is such a sacred cow they have done the exact opposite,. Yet it becoming increasingly obvious to everyone except the myopic Left that NHS funding is becoming unsustainable. It is time to consider alternatives
