I saw this story on TV the other day. It just goes to show there are still bargains to be had. Someone must be kicking themselves.

We bought something from someone once & gave reasonable money for it. We sold it on Ebay for far in excess of the bought price & we were going to give the original seller to us a percentage of the profit we got, but we never saw them again.

Friend of mine worked in a local charity shop , she saw a chain in the cabinet and bought it sure it was more than metal , think she paid £2. We looked closely at this 20 inch chain which had pearls all the way round , very heavy , guess what on closer inspection it was 18ct solid gold . She said she would go to porn shop and sell . Not seen her for a while so don't know what's happened yet

Longy, Surely, it's a case of, some you win and some you lose?!!
I know when l cleared my mother's house after she died, l gave lots away to sell at jumble sales. I realise now, there were many things that were of some value but l needed to clear the house, to sell it.
Hindsight, is a wonderful thing!!
