Jobs

Hi

Just a general thing, nothing Political at all.

There is a young lad in the village, never the brightest, left at 16, but a real grafter, just like his Mum and Dad.

Very likeable family.

He started work on naff all, youngster's minimum, never late for work, did all the crap jobs, never complained, always did them well.

He has never taken a sickie, asked to help the men, showed an aptitude for welding.

He has been there 2 years, now 18.

The boss has just given him a Permanent job, 45 hours a week, £10 an hour.

He is also giving him paid time off to get a welding qualification.

Just goes to show, not all our youngsters are idle and not all bosses are bad.

He has worked hard and been rewarded for it, good for him.

Re: Jobs

Too many are quick to dismiss our youngsters as idle and lazy. Ive found quite the opposite.

Re: Jobs

I think if more employers gave them a chance they'd amaze us!
