Waders

Just back from a fab 3 day break in North Wales with Mrs Oy

A highlight for me was a good hour spent getting the run around Red Wharf Bay on Anglesey by a mixed flock of Dunlin and Ringed Plover. After learning their fave spots to land - and crawling commando style over loose rock (still picking rubble out of me knees) I got close enough for some pix!

Fuji X-Pro2 and 50-140mm F/2.8 with x1.4 TC.

Processing: Basic levels, slight dehaze and vibrance in Lightroom. Resize and final sharpen in Photoshop.

1. Dunlin

2. Ringed plover

3. Dunlin x3

4. This is the view I got fro 90% of the time lol.

5. Ringed plover

6. And with sleepy Dunlin.

Re: Waders

Lovely shots - two great looking birds.
I'm glad that it's only your knees that suffered - it could have been worse
