Good morning Friday

Good morning everyone, tipping down here and forecast to continue for an hour or two yet but the garden is certainly benefitting from the drink...

We had a smashing time at the Crich tramway museum yesterday, the sun shone, we rode on the trams, had a lovely walk with the dogs in the woodland walk, then enjoyed our picnic lunch whilst looking out over the glorious Derbyshire countryside. Excellent.

Nothing planned yet for today, just see how it goes I guess.

Glad you had a great time yesterday Barry, I like Trams and Steam Trains.

It was pouring of rain throughout the night, its stopped now.

Going for my Diabetic Eye Screening at 10am this morning so won't be able to see afterwards.

buenas dias all. Another hot, sunny day in store for us and a busy morning for me. I have a doctor´s appointment this morning, then I need to post some small bouncy balls to Finland and call at the farmacia. After that I will go and pick up my friend for our afternoon out. Mr Clumsy has someone coming to install a new TV system, so I need to ensure he has pen and paper handy to write down instructions, well I can but hope ! I hope all goes well with your eye screening Susie.

Susie, I find that sun glasses help a bit when they have put those drops in your eyes. There is an ice cream shop, next door to where I go, so I treat myself to a small sundae and have a small insulin jab to cover the carbs.

What a change in the weather again - it's chucking it down here.

I think Tony & I are going to do the weekly shop at Tesco this morning as I will be out all day tomorrow.

I plan on going for my usual Friday swim with daughter Sue this afternoon.

Nothing particular planned, just some local errands to do.

Been raining all night, and still raining now. Everywhere looks a lovely fresh green again now though, and perhaps the talked-about hosepipe ban will not be needed after all, so it's not all bad.

Barry, glad you had a nice time yesterday.

We have had rain o/n by the looks of it, and it was forecast to last all day. I'll nip out inbetween showers to get my newspaper, then stay in to do much needed housework (hoovering, not done any since being ill!!!), and finish unpacking my case. Will also get a beef casserole on the go in the slow cooker, so that's tonight's supper sorted. It's only a small pack of meat.

Usual Friday for me. Counselling session at 12 then up to spend the rest of the day with da who has dementia and he's very bad at the moment. I'm dreading it. Before that I've to be trained in on a new system for the company I type for and bring the dogs for their walk.
