Arrested??

Out shopping this afternoon my coat pocket felt heavy,when I fely in one I found a ball of string and a pair of scissors, whichI had been using in the garden to tie back some plants,and forgot to remove them. Good thing I wasnt 'Stop & Searched'

Are scissors classes as offensive weapons?
I suppose you could tie someone up with the string or strangle them...

Never occurred to me scissors might be classed as a weapon. Chap in the village always seems to have a long handled syth with him not sure why he does but the police are frequently seen talking animatedly to him.

Now lets be honest about it. The ball of string and the scissors were there in case your knickers fell down and you wanted to have something to retain them around your waist area

I bet you were having a ball!!

Seriously now, l used to carry a pair of hairdressing scissors in my pocket when l used to take my dogs for a walk over the fields. When l mentioned it to somebody, they said, l could have been arrested for carrying a dangerous weapon!
