Kajaki

Has anyone seen this film? I had not heard of it until it was on TV a couple of nights ago. It's about a group of soldiers serving in Afghanistan who get caught in a land mine trap with disastrous results. Sadly, it is a true story.

We watched the whole film in total silence it was that tense.

I haven't. Will see if I can get hold of it.

Such films teach me a lot.

Well worth watching. The first fifteen minutes or so is just army banter which is quite funny if you can understand the various dialects. It's hard hitting, gory and full of 'bad language' but an excellent film.

LD, have you seen Buried?

Another great film with more twists and turns than a country lane.

Re: Kajaki

Yes, we watched it and it was quite gripping.

We both thought the only problem was the sound quality.

I agree, especially at the beginning but we did have the subtitles on as always. It helped with all the different accents.

I'll have to think about that good idea the next time we watch a film with less than perfect sound.

Can you switch on subtitles once you've recorded it?
