The letter H

I was having a discussion yesterday about the pronunciation of the letter 'H'. Should it be pronounced ' Aitch' or 'Haitch'?

I always say 'Aitch' but I noticed that Idris Elba says 'Sky Haitch D' on the TV advert.

According to Wikipedia, 'Aitch' is taught by the protestant religion and 'Haitch' taught by the Catholic religion, something I was not aware of.

So how do you say it?

Are those that have said 'Aitch' from a protestant background?

Interesting. Mrs LDs says she had some friends at school that always said 'Haitch' and they were all Catholic.
