Glenfinnan & Loch Shiel

The Glenfinnan Monument and Loch Shiel beyond.

The monument was erected in 1815 in tribute to the Jacobite clansmen who fought and died in the cause of Prince Charles Edward Stuart.

Thanks all - defo Scotland - I'll post a more typical Scotland landscape from the day we went up. The rest of the week was as above!

2cd shot nice viewpoint, whished i had been into photography when i visited there. I do remember driving up Glen Roy in the mother of all Thunderstorms, and we are all waiting with baited breath for your Nessie photo.
