Runs in threes
Ive had my 3 bits of bad news.Yesterday I was told that the cancerous growth under my arm has got bigger despite treatment, this afternoon my friend rang to say she will have to have her bowel removed & a bag fitted, now Ive had an e.mail from my nephews son to say his Dad [aged 76yrs]has suffered a major stroke & has only 48 hours to live.This has depressed me terribly.Ihope & pray no more bad news

Very sad.Although I wouldn't give up hope for your nephew....they can't say he only has 48 hours....they just don't know.
They may have said the next 48 hours are critical....as every stroke is or maybe they doubt he'll live more than 48.
as long as he has a pulse he has a chance.

so true things go in threes. Years ago My father died followed only a very few months later my mother passed away. In between Sue was having a threatened miscarriage all in the space of 4 months. Never thought it would stop, the bad news, and made me really deeply depressed. Oh birth was ok in the end|
