Old Threads

Just been looking at some really old threads and many are well worth reading. I even posted on a couple and got a reply from a member saying "Doc do you realise this topic finished 8 years ago" Lol! But i noticed that many old threads would not be out of place today same old problems etc.

Doc means it was me who said that. I thought perhaps he hadn't noticed the date before he posted.


I do agree that many old threads still apply today though.

There are some crackers hidden in the archives of this forum. I might dig a few out myself to refresh me old brain-box.

I never read old threads Doc lol ....mind you I hardly read new threads either so thats neither here or there...
I dont see the point of posting on old threads as most of the other posters are long gone and wont be replying but then I suppose there may be new life left in old threads if you keep ressurrecting them

If you find an old thread with a topic that interests you which may have been started by someone no longer able to respond you can always start your own thread with that topic .

If the topic has recently been discussed (meaning in the last few months ) the threads will often be merged to prevent repetition .

I wonder if reading through the old threads if any one thinks oh I would have put something different now or answer it in a different way.
