Do you turn the camera away?

Another fun thread really, its just I skyped with mum yesterday and logging on to the PC this morning I noticed the webcam still facing toward me..
So I turned its face to the wall as I always do.

I dont like it sitting there with its blank black eye staring at me so.
To those who have or had a web cam do you let it stare at you or do you turn its face to the wall?

Mine is set in my laptop so I have no option.

I have taped up the 'eye' on my iPad since l read on here that you can be watched!
On my desktop, l used to face the webcam up to the ceiling or take it off when not in use!

Paranoid or what?!!

I have a small webcam, shaped like a ball. I didn't use it much but I now don't use it at all... because my cats played with it and pushed under my dresser. I just can't be bothered lying on the floor to try and scoop it out.

I have a webcam which I seldom use .... well, not for a few years now. Just looked at it, thought of Big Brother and turned it up to the ceiling

Never, ever used one....I hate having my photo taken so the thought of a webcam terrifies me.

I have covered the camera on my laptop , I don't like the feeling I am being spied on

Aren't you bothered that everyone will be able to see all of the accumulated dust under your dresser?

I did it a while back and silly though it may be, I feel safer that way.
