The Queen.

I see 'The Queen' is on ITV3 this afternoon - I've just punched it in to record.

Starring the brilliant Helen Mirran this film is well worth a second watching....

It was a good film and Helen Mirren was perfect in the role. However, some of the stuff was artistic license and unnecessary ,giving in incorrect portrayal of HRH.

Such as the Queens private apartments and what she said to Philip and what he said to her. I think that was quite damaging as nobody knows what they discussed between them, but some would take it a gospel.

Yip..saw it twice...a great Film and well acted by all...put (The Firm) in a bad light over Dianas death...and made Tony Blair out to be a bit of a hero...the tories on 'ere won't like that

I did cringe a bit seeing the scene in bed where Philip calls her Pudding or something - really taking a liberty there I thought.
