Where Do You Buy Your Petrol Or Diesel?

Do you go to where it's cheapest i.e. a supermarket, or to one of the big giants like Shell or BP?
Do you buy the normal unleaded or the next one up?
Diesel users, are you worried about the future and that you may have to scrap your car?

Supermarket. I drive past Sainsburys towards Morrisons, check who has the cheapest, and then get it.

Very rarely do I use the alternatives as they have a huge mark up!

Jazzi, I thought it was supposed to be good for your engine, if you occasionally fill up with the big petrol company's petrol?

Either sainsburys or morrisons depends where I am when I realise I need petrol and panic. I wish I was more organised with my car I remember to put decal stickers on it, an artificial flower blooms on the dashboard and my lovely Scottie dog bin has pride of place but I forget the petrol

I fill my car at the first petrol station I can reach, before I run out.

Hi

My car does not get on with Sainsbury diesel.

I normally use Texaco, not many Supermarkets around here that sell Fuel.

The one thing we do have, being so agricultural, is a Red Diesel pump on the garage forecourt.

You don't see many of those.

Mr Mags fills his car up at Sainsburys, it seems to last him for ages as he doesn't use the car much these days.

Re: Where Do You Buy Your Petrol Or Diesel?

As part of my big bargain shopping trip I fill up in Germany once a month. Petrol there is between 15 and 25 cents cheaper than NL. If I need petrol between German trips I go to the place on the way to dog walking woods, its also the cheapest in town.
