I've been awake since 4.30 but didn't want to wake you all with an early call!

Enjoy your last day of the Easter holiday. If the rain holds off I'll open the allotment shop at 11 for an extra shift.

How come you was up so early? Was it nice and peaceful when you went to bed last night?

Off out now to Boreham Car Boot sale they opened at 7am for the public.

Good morning everyone a chilly day here after rain during the night.

Had a lovely day yesterday with our daughter and family here, lots of laughter and fun. I'm amazed at how quickly my grandson is growing, he's 14 and already 6'1"

No special plans for today, a restful one I hope...

Went to bed at 9 with earplugs, just in case, and was awake at 4.30.

Good morning all, dry here now after a rainy night and a dry forecast I think.

Just back from the forest with the dogs and having a coffee before doing some odd jobs. The blackbirds are turfing muck out of the gutters so I'd better get the steps and clean them out. Just one of the many and varied British pastimes on a bank holiday....

Another day of dog sitting while Sue finishes off helping son to repaint the bedroom wall in his flat. So that is my Easter blown out for this year ,lets hope we both can get out and about for the rest of the year
