Time with the Littllies

Hi

Spent some time with my pretend grandkids today.

Amelca is five, lives in Poland but a regular visitor in the holidays.

I made these with them this morning, fun Easter thing to do.

Hard boiled eggs cut in half, the tail is a chive, ears are radish and the eyes peppercorns.

Pieces of cheese in front and all on a cabbage leave.

They loved doing it and parents were very impressed.

Cheered me up no end it did.

Re: Time with the Littllies

What a great idea Gibbs my littlies would love those

I am rather a disappointed Nanna (although I have had a lovely day).

We went on an Easter egg hunt which I imagined would be hunting eggs but it it wasn't it was hunting a number of white rabbits in trees and identifying the species of trees then writing the names down on a grid.
The finished lists of trees are then entered in a prize draw for one big egg.

We couldnt find all the rabbits it was really difficult..

Oh dear ... hope they won't have to write an essay on 'What we did at Easter'
