Do you gesticulate?

I have been watching "The Big Question" this morning, one of the audience when giving their point of view gesticulated to enforce every word.
I occurred to me that I am not aware of whether I do this, I'll have to ask people I talk to.
Do you or someone you know do it?
If someone over - gesticulates would it annoy you?

I looked it up and now I realise it's not rude, I can answer.

No, I don't think I overdo it.

Good for you! Best not to get too physical at our age!
Apparently, I only do it when my dander is up, then I flap about all over the place!

No ... I don't gesticulate. It makes typing on forums damn hard.

Re: Do you gesticulate?

My eldest Daughter and I were just laughing last week about how We,(compared to Others around Us),use Our hands/arms when talking, and agreed it was probably because Her younger Sis' is profoundly deaf,so using Our hands to (talk) to Her has just become a habit...so yes...I'm a BIG gesticulater

I do but not to the same extent that lady did. I thought she would take off one point as she whirled her hands around like a helicopter

Sue's arms are like windmills, when she is talking one has to stand well clear
