You could be fined

If you use a McDonald's drive through and use your mobile to pay, you could get a £1000 fine and points on your license, also if you use your smartphone as a sat Nav, you could also fall foul of the new laws if you touch it whilst moving,

Nope, fraid not....any land that is open to the public comes under Highways....in a similar way that if you are moving your car in a pub car park after a few you are guilty of drink drive.
