March photo competitionMarch result.
The deadheat playoff poll has now closed, and the winner (embarrassingly
) is Barry, with his photograph of fungii on an old tree stump.Many thanks to all that entered with some smashing shots on an interesting theme thanks to Cass.
I will be announcing the April competition sometime tomorrow.

I sometimes think it must be a lot easier to take a good photo if you have a good camera and not just a cheapy point and click thing..Then I think about my dear departed FIL who had no idea about framing a shot or taking a photo from the right angle so we have loads of his snaps where people seem to have lamposts growing from the top of their head or twigs sticking out of their ears, major landmarks are marred by him including the overflowing bins or a bit of a lorry that was going past.
They are fun to look at and have a laugh, but poor dad regardless of the camera he would have taken a photo that no one would want on their walls!
