I'm so sorry mate to hear your devastating news. I mean operations and infections....Pah! But Man flu I really feel for ya. Ignore the comments that will follow from the ladies. Have a good rest and I hope you get back on your feet soon.

Inevitable i'm afraid, we are not as young as we were and infections take it out on us, they take a long time to get over.

You have had a serious operation, the secondary infection just made it worse.

My initial spinal abscess op was very minor compared to your op, but the secondary infection is taking ages to resolve

Take care and take it easy.
