A bunny for my daughter.

I went shopping over the border in Germany today with my daughter its a trip we make once a month.

Today at the bakers the lady behind the counter asked if we would mind if she served a man in overals first, she laughed and said 'cant keep the workers waiting' we laughed and then she pointed at A and asked if she was my daughter.
I confirmed she was ... As she packed our loaves of bread the lady held up a lovely bread roll in the shape of a bunny and said 'I'll pop this in for your daughter, we are giving them to all the children'

Well that really made us laugh because my 'baby' daughter will be 30 this year!

That's sweet and I'm betting she's still your baby girl at heart.

Re: A bunny for my daughter.

I like shopping in Germany, there is a lot of old fashioned service and politeness in the shops there unlike so many big high street shops these days.
