I have had many good days, there is not one that stands out.

Re: The Best Day of Your Life

It would have to be my son's wedding .
He lives in New Zealand and he got married outside on a sheep station .
The weather and everything else was fantastic , even though it was their winter .
By a long way it was the best wedding I ever attended , just fantastic !!

It would be the 22nd March 1991 but not 22nd March 2017.

My wedding 47 years ago, and holding my daughter in my arms immediately after seeing her born, both events still bring a smile to my face

Not easy. I think getting home late one night and finding someone sitting on my front doorstep rates very highly.

Re: The Best Day of Your Life

Bringing my twins home from hospital

They were born almost 7 weeks premature so both went straight into incubators. On the second day my son was brought to me in the middle of the night for a cuddle as he had breathing difficulties and was being transfered there and then to another hospital which had better facilities for his condition.
He was reunited with his little sister 3 weeks later. Six weeks later I was allowed to bring them home .... with tears of joy.
