Do you hear voices ?

I was just writing " people " in another thread and thought it's funny when I write that I always hear my late lovely primary school teachers voice as I write it. I struggled to spell it and I can still see her today sitting opposite me saying try saying it as pee oople and that's how you spell it.

All these years later I'm still saying it and seeing her lovely face as I do.

I don't hear voices, but I have a constant noise in my head due to tinnitus, which has got worse in the past 15 years.

My voices tell me to sharpen my knives, but they go away when I use fresh tin foil on my head.
I can still hear my mother screaming, 'Turn that bloody music down'

Hi

The horrible noises in my ears stopped when the Ex left.

I'm sure my husband has developed selective deafness over the years

Not any more....now that I take my medication regularly.

Yes I do, don't argue when you don't know what you're on about.

Shut up....just shut up.

It is a pain but I have learned to live with it. Other people have much worse things with which to contend, so I really can't grumble.

Taking of school teachers, I am still in touch with my secondary school geography mistress who is in her 90s. I phone her each month. When I reached 60 she told me I could call her by her first name as I was now an OAP like her. I still feel I should sit to attention and say, "Yes Miss".
