Jelly Babies

One of my daughters ran in a half marathon today!
Anyway, she was given a bag of goodies which included a bag of Jelly Babies! She didn't want them, so she gave them to me!
I haven't eaten Jelly Babies for years and they are so yummy!
Now, a silly question, do you like Jelly Babies? Do you have a favourite colour? Lastly, do you bite their heads off first?!!

Re: Jelly Babies

Find them a wee bit sweet for my taste. Used to like them though .
Can"t remember whether I bit the heads off first.

Re: Jelly Babies

I can remember refusing to eat them I felt too sorry for them to bite them at all.

Re: Jelly Babies

I used to like them when they had proper sugar on them, sucked them til the sugar disappeared then chewed them up, now they have a weird whitish coating, not nice!
Well done to your daughter!

TessA, My daughter ran in another half marathon two weeks ago for the Heart Foundation.
Today, there were over 3000 runners. She has another 10 mile run next week which she says will be easy!

Re: Jelly Babies

How bizarre seeing this thread is for me...I've just come in with a big bag of jelly babies myself.
Being a fit and healthy strapping young lad, I shun most sweets, but I do have a soft spot for said Bassetts confectionery.
My usual plan is to eat three in a row whilst driving to the gym - one black, one red and one yellow. In that order. See - they do have health benefits after all!
And no, whoever bites their heads off is borderline sinister.
