Have You Ever Won Anything In A Raffle?

I went to a charity quiz last night and was thrilled to win a three course meal for two in a lovely inn locally!
Have you ever won anything in a raffle? Was it something lovely or the booby prize?

Recently three bottles of wine for a charity event to raise awareness of animal cruelty. I don't tend support cruelty to humans as they can defend themselves , very unworthy cause

I once won an Alabaster cigarette/smoking set.
It comprised of a cigarette lighter holder, ashtray and cigarette box.
The same night I won a fruit basket and 2 bottles of wine.

I was on holiday in Spain and it was a hotel entertainment night.....my parent's were dead chuffed...I wasn't....I was 7 years old

Back in 1986 I went to a Hoedown at a local farm, bought tickets in the raffle and won a £5 premium bond.
I have never had premium bonds so I just stuck it in a box of important documents and left it there. I have never won anything, but if I win the top prize I will probably organize another Hoedown and ask all the off members to come and join me for a dance.

I've won lots of prizes in raffles, the biggest being a fancy sewing machine which was no good to me as I don't sew, but I sold it for £450!

The most recent was a half day loan of a bouncy castle!

I have won a few things in raffles. Nothing of any great importance though.

I sincerely hope you win......but......only after I can manage a few well placed moves......the surgeon has assured me I'll be able to dance after my op...which is great as I couldn't before.

It's a long time since I enjoyed a Hoe down here.
