Not for the easily upset .....

The horses and riders behaved correctly, the vehicle and driver appeared to deliberately target the horses .....

Saw that ... on one of the other rags it showed the motorists coming around the bend clearly on the wrong side of the road.

Also that he's since had a stroke so I wonder how old he was.

I'm surprised the first horse wasn't seriously injured.

Years back there would always be horse riders going down the lane in front of my house but once they built an out of town Retail outlet and the road got busy they've become a thing of the past.

Yes, l saw that on an online newspaper. He was really bombing it! I couldn't look at the impact with the horse, l couldn't bear it.
Is the stroke the reason why the driver wasn't prosecuted?

That's yet to be verified.

The vehicle did (initially) immediately stop at the scene of the carnage so it was, apparently, still under control.

We'll have to wait for the results of the investigation.

What if there hadn't been video footage, though? I suspect that the vehicle driver would have blamed the horse-riders .....

I lived in small village when I lived in Wales often horses going through the village. The locals were aware of horses it was just the boy racers who caused problems. Horses are skittish at the best of times.

Apparently, the horses are called "Patsy" and "Fleur" .....

Unfortunately these horses are unlikely to be safe again on the road.
Horses poor things that have been hit by cars are often terrified for ever.
