I went in an ambulance last year for the first time in my life!
I had chest pains and rang the doctor for advice, she said to ring for an ambulance. I said, it might be just indigestion and l would be a time waster! She insisted, l did. So, l did ring and off l went with the blue light flashing!
The doctor at the hospital was convinced l'd had a heartache and that frightened me. They were so kind, so thorough and did lots of tests but they all came back negative.
I was very lucky!

Unfortunately, four times,First with my darling mum on her last journey to hospital,
the same with my lovely mum-in-law on the same last journey
The first for myself but knew nothing about it on the 18 mile journey and the last time when I should have been at the airport going on holiday but my GP called an ambulance to take me to hospital instead.
You've made me feel quite sad now Art!
