I usually test the waters before I wade in Spitty, best to throw a stick in first, there may be crocodiles lurking amongst the reeds.

I usually wade in if I think a situation needs sorting out, even if I am putting my life in danger, as has happened on a few occasions!

When I've thought someone was in trouble, I've waded in, esp when it's been children
I'd rather get it wrong then turn a blind eye in those circumstances
