Worlds oldest McDonald's to close.

Hi

A bit of local history.

The Town Centre McDonalds , which is in Shrewsbury, is to close.

Built into the Town Walls, the downstairs, which seats 100, is an old guardroom and living quarters.

An amazing place, built 800 years ago and full of fond memories for me and the kids.

What an amazing building. I had no idea that McDonalds had been going that long.

I always assumed that McDs began in america.

Fabulous building!


Edit: Hmm - do they really mean it's the oldest McDs or do they mean it is the opldest building to house a McDs ??
