SEQUEL to The Italian Job .....

Listening to the radio and apparently an author has written a book as a sequel to The Italian Job, and it is being considered to be produced as a film.


The original film ended on a perfect 'knife edge' - just begging for a 'What Happens Next'????

A group of robbers with their stash in a coach go nearly over a cliff edge. They scramble to the rear of the coach, while it is tiltering up and down!!!
Then Michael Cain announces; "Don't worry, I've got an idea"!!! ......... Then the film ends!!


So what might be your version of - What Happens Next?

He finds a long rope and they all escape safely, then when they go to spend the money it's no good as the Euro is now in place.( It was Italian money, wasn't it? ).

The Wife has just informed me that it was Gold bars, not money. What would she know, she says she remembers the car chase very clearly, the crooks driving through the streets of Rome, up and down steps in their little Morris Minors.
