buenas dias all. Still a bit cloudy here but not a breath of wind. I´m off to take madam ChoCho for a haircut so whilst she is being beautified I´ll sit for an hour or so with a coffee and a crossword. No other plans, just wait and see what the day brings. Have a nice day all.

Good morning to you all.Nothing from the hospital so far, we will be going there again later.
I told you earlier that it is all going to be a 'Doom and gloom' week.
I had a phone call yesterday evening, telling me of another death.
Another of my friends died on Sunday. He had prostate cancer.
When he told me that he had it a couple of years ago, I said "have it out." But no he would not listen instead he optioned to have kemo.
I had mine out almost 10 years ago and my PSA readings are still 0.0.
I have the neighbors funeral this morning.
Have a nice day... yea right.

A friend of mine has this cancer too Emjay, well it's my ex hubby actually.
Sadly he left it too late to seek help and the cancer got into his spine so it was too late to remove it.
I spoke to him just last night, and he said his PSA was 800 + when they first found out! It is right down to something like 3 now I believe, but he has to live on drugs, and his legs barely work now.
I hope things are bearable for you today.

Morning all.Sorry about this latest news Emjay.
Brother HAS to have the hormone and radiation therapy for his prostate cancer, as put simply, having surgery/cryotherapy will kill him. They put the patient's body upside down during surgery and this'd put a strain on his heart, plus all his meds prevent it too. He hopes to start treatment this week.
Uncle's funeral is not till mid March.
Don't like these damp, miserable, dark days! I have moods to match! Weather is looking right iffy a few days this week. Roll on Spring, eh?
