A random kindness

Hi

Cheered me up.

The world would be a better place if more did things like this.

Re: A random kindness

What a kind thought Swims.

Funnily enough, I almost started a thread about exactly this subject.
They were saying about it on the car radio today as I was driving along, and asking who had done a 'random act of kindness today.'
Then lo and behold, I see you have beat me to it.

I do try to help if possible. Like yesterday when I was walking up to the post office, there was an elderly lady struggling to walk, and was only going a few paces then stopping to lean on a wall, a bin, a doorway - anything. I have no idea who she was.
I offered her my arm, and said I would walk with her.
She smiled, but declined.
At least I offered.

Re: A random kindness

What a lovely thing to do.

Yesterday I found the boot on the other foot we were recipients of kindness.
Mr M and I took our grandchild ice skating .
Mr M is a competent skater but seems to have lost confidence since being ill
Sad to see .
I am a useless skater just about go forward with none of that feet crossing stuff .
Being half term the rink was chocker and we found to our dismay we were by far the oldest people on the ice !
All the other grandparents were sat by the side looking bored and cold !
Anyway during the course of the session. we both took rather crashing falls and were warmed by people's concern . Straight away people came up ( including one tiny girl aged about five who is obviouly destined to skate in the next olimpics ) to set us on our feet again
All young people all kind.
