Good morning Wednesday

Good morning everyone, much milder here, in fact 10 deg above the same time yesterday, amazing...

I am being taken out this morning apparently for some retail therapy (oh joy... ) because all of a sudden I need some new shirts. Apparently the shop has a lift so we should be able to make it to the men's department without attacking the stairs on my sticks, so that's it then fait accomplis , my only proper excuse for not going has been rent asunder and my fate is sealed...

Enjoy your day folks.

Rosemary's Christmas amarylliss in nearly full bloom, two flowers yet to open.

Re: Good morning Wednesday

Morning all.

Have a good day Barry, and take it easy.

Today is my IT drop in session day but...I was asked yesterday afternoon by email if I knew how many people I was expecting. I replied 'I don't know, I rely upon you to tell me!'

Apparently no-one has yet booked a place for today. So I will email M again, asking what I shall do. Do I turn up, in the hope he has contacted some prospective pupils? Or do I have a week off? The library closes an entire IT room, and management (and security stands by) requests users to vacate the room at 1pm. Security then hangs about for 15 minutes to turn users away, but I still get them coming in (not reading the notice) through the closed doors.

Question. Why don't people read notices?!

Re: Good morning Wednesday

Good morning folks.

Hope you got on alright with your GP visit yesterday Barry.

Sounds a bit of a muddle at the library Jazzi, hope it works out today for you.

I've been up half the night with one of my dogs. Don't know what's wrong with her, shivering and shaking, pacing about, quite distressed. Quite out of character, usually pretty bombproof she is.
Her temperature is normal this morning, and she's just eaten some breakfast, but only if I fed her in her bed! Most odd.

Good morning all.
I'm meeting up for lunch with 3 women I met on a coach trip a few years ago.
A big meal & a few glasses of wine - I won't be doing much else when I get home...

Have a good day all.

Good morning all.
I hope you all have a pleasant day and you get done what needs to be done.
Nothing planed for me, except for the hospital visit this afternoon.
Yesterday the wife was again not communicating. They had fitted big mittens on her hands, as we were told that she was trying to pull the tubes out of her.

Sorry to hear that about your wife, Emjay, it can't be very encouraging for you to see her like that yesterday.
Hope you're managing. x
